Do you provide mod
support and installation?
-We
provide support for the game hosted, but do not support any game mods.
We can also install most mods for the titles we host and
glady do
this on your behalf.
What is your
average server load?
-50 to 60% CPU Load.
Do you provide high
speed file redirect hosting?
-Yes, free of charge. When you upload a custom
map/model/sound to
your game folder, our next scheduled server scan will detect the change
an auto synchronize it with our high speed redirect server.
This means you only upload once, then the rest is automated.
How long after my
purchase until my server is setup?
-Depending upon the time of the day, 2 to 18 hours.
How is my data
secured?
-Every server has an additional storage feature. We keep 2
copies
of all client data. Data backups are performed once every 2
weeks, always on a weekday, and always near the midnight hours.
Why don't you
support game X?
-There
are many titles on the market. We try to focus on the more
popular titles. If you are interested in a game we do not
host
please contact sales@impulsegaming.net.
What payment types
do you accept?
-We
currently accept Paypal and Google Checkout. You may also use
any
major credit card using PayPal or GC. You do not need a Paypal account
to use its credit card acceptance feature. Simply place your
order and select paypal as your pay option. When prompted to
login, select the option to use a credit card without using a Paypal
account.
How do I
start/stop/restart my game server?
-You
will be issued a user control panel for your server. You can
start/stop/restart your server by the simple click of a button.
How do I configure
my game server?
-You will have full file access via your game control panel.
Do I have FTP
access to my server?
-Yes.
How much space do I
receive with my server?
-Space
is currently unlimited. This has been our policy since day
one
and so long as no one abuses the privelage, it shall remain our policy.
What are the
details of your customer loyalty plan? Can I prepay my server
for a year to receive an additional discount?
-Prepaying a server for 3, 6, 9, or even 12 months is always a bad idea
in our opinion. The risk of losing your investment with a
shady
operation arises. All of our services are strictly on a month
to
month basis. Customers who spend $40.00 or more a month with
Impulse Gaming may request special discount pricing after being a
customer with us for 3 or more months. We will apply a 10%
discount, just like you were prepaying for a year, only without the
prepayment.
